What is the accessibility?

The accessibility consists of the access to the information without any limitation because of deficiency, disability, or handicap.

There are great the persons who accede to the information of the web sites from contexts very different from ours since:

- They can have problems of hearing, vision, mobility.
- They can have difficulties of reading or comprehension.
- Probably they cannot use the keyboard or the mouse.
- They can have a reader of alone text, a small screen or a slow connection, etc...

These groups constitute 10-20 % of the population and for them to sail along a standard site turns out to be very difficult and in certain occasions impossibly.

For it and for them instruments and tools have been created (for example, browsers of voice ó magnificadores of screen) that adapt the computer to them way of operating and it is necessary to construct the contents so that they could handle them.


Our commitment

In the accomplishment of our web site, our intention has been to design a web site that is accessible for the major number of users, independently of them personal or technological limitations and to collaborate to reducing the social discrimination like that how the barriers created by the change derived from the new technologies.

For it we have based in the application and the fulfillment of the Guidelines of Accessibility or General Beginning of Accessible Design established by the Group of Work WAI (Initiative for the Accessibility of the Web) belonging to the W3C (Consortium for the World Wide Web).

Have we used formats standard established by the W3C and we have followed the Directives of Accessibility generated by the WAI, fulfilling the level AAA.

Standards

The language used for the contents and its structure is XHTML 1.1, and to arrange the elements and to present them in a graphical way Sheets of Styles have been in use in Waterfall (CSS). All the pages have been validated as XHTML 1.1 Strict and CSS 2.0.


Navigation

To facilitate the navigation of the visitors, all the pages keep a similar structure composed for:

- A head-board, with the Emblem and the basic links, and later a photo offering the service with a slogan.
- The bar of principal navigation with links to the principal paragraphs of the web site, with the link in position activated to show at all time where we are.
- A central zone we have the content of the paragraph.
- And in the end, we have the foot, other necessary links.


Speed keys

There have been enabled speed keys that facilitate the navigation. To use these speed keys in systems based on Microsoft Windows there is in use the key sequence ALT + Speed key (in Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape, Mozilla Firebird) ALT+Tecla Mayúsculas+Tecla of rapid access (Mozilla Firefox) or ALT+Tecla of rapid access + Key ENTER (Internet Explorer 5 or Superiors) or Capital Key + Esc to activate the speed keys in Opera; in systems based in and????? L operating system MacOS can use the combination CONTROL+Tecla of rapid access.

- 1: to go to the head-board, where estan the basic links as: Principal Page, Legal Notice and I Contact.
- 2: to go to the menu of principal navigation.
- 3: to go alcontenido.
- 4: to go to the foot, where there are other basic and duplicated links of the head-board, as: Web of the Designer, Accessibility, Legal Notice and I Contact.

- n: to go to At your home.
- r: to go to Reserve.
- q: to go to Order.
- l: to go to Links.
- o: to go to Location.
- i: to go to Contact.
- s: to go to Accessibility.
- m: web goes to Map.
- r: goes to the web of the company designer, GARADI.


Links and images

The links that need it contain a description by means of the attribute "title".
All the images contain a brief description by means of the attribute "alt".


Visual design

This web site uses caps and sheets of style in waterfall (CSS) for the visual formatting of the information. The content of the presentation has separated, assuring both the access and the correct visualization of the information under different environments.

Relative sizes of sources have been in use, configurables for the users and the options of text of them browsers. We have verified the correct visualization of this web site in different versions of the principal browsers (Internet Explorer 5.5 and Superiors, Mozilla, Opera), platforms, equipments and configurations.
